Benefits and Services

In this section, you can learn about the health benefits, pharmacy services and value added services Oklahoma Complete Health offers.

All services must be medically necessary. Your Primary Care Physician (PCP) will work with you to make sure you get the services you need. These services must be given by your PCP or by another provider that your PCP refers you to.

Some services may:

  • Have copays.
  • Have coverage limits.
  • Need a doctor’s order.
  • Need prior approval.

Oklahoma Complete Health offers SoonerSelect plans with comprehensive health care benefits and services that suit the needs of families and individuals in our service areas in Oklahoma. View some of Oklahoma Complete Health's benefits and service below.

Preventive care visits are covered by Oklahoma Complete Health. This means visiting the doctor for a regular check-up, rather than waiting until you are sick.

Adults should have an annual physical. These are always covered by Oklahoma Complete Health.

Regular well-child checkups are also covered for those under the age of 21. Schedule well-child visits at these ages:

  • Newborns (within 24 hours of birth)
  • The first week visit (3 to 5 days old)
  • 1 month old
  • 2 months old
  • 4 months old
  • 6 months old
  • 9 months old
  • 12 months old
  • 15 months old
  • 18 months old
  • 2 years old (24 months)
  • 2 ½ years old (30 months)
  • Annually from ages 3 to 21

Oklahoma Complete Health also covers the immunizations and blood work recommended as a part of well-child checkups.

As an Oklahoma Complete Health member, you can choose who you see for your health care needs from our network of doctors and providers. We contract directly with providers in your community and throughout Oklahoma to provide behavioral health services. 

Covered services include:

  • Applied Behavioral Analysis 
  • Therapeutic Behavioral Services, Family Support and Training
  • Individual, group and family counseling services 
  • Certified Community Behavioral Health (CCBH) Services
  • Inpatient psychiatric evaluation and treatment 
  • Medication management and monitoring: 
  •     Opiate substitution treatment services
  •     Withdrawal management (detoxification) 
  • Mental health services provided in a residential setting
  • Partial Hospitalization  
  • Day Treatment Services
  • Peer Recovery Support Services
  • Psychological assessments 
  • Rehabilitation case management 
  • Screening for drug and alcohol use disorders 
  • Substance use disorder treatment

Protect your eyes with eye exams and prescription eyewear. Oklahoma Complete Health expands the state’s covered vision services for members by offering an annual routine eye exam and $150 towards the cost of glasses or contact lenses every two years.

Care management and disease coaching are part of your health benefits and are provided to you at no cost. Oklahoma Complete Health pays for these services. We provide services for many conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, COPD, high-risk pregnancy and many more. Call Member Services at 1-833-752-1664 (TTY: 711).

Care management coordinates transitions of care in circumstances affecting your care plan, for example, when benefits end, transitioning from pediatric to adult care, moving from a different level of care, discharging home or when coverage terminates.

Our Nurse Advice Line is ready to answer your health questions 24 hours a day – every day of the year. It is staffed with Registered Nurses. Call 1-833-752-1664 (TTY: 711). 

Through our Community Impact and Resource Team, we can help you get the support you need. A Community Health Worker (CHW) team member can talk to you over the phone. They can also visit your home. They can talk to you about things like how to choose a doctor, plan benefits and living healthy. They can also connect you to community social service programs. These programs can help you with several community needs including food, housing, and transportation.

Oklahoma Complete Health covers Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) for medically necessary covered services, such as doctor appointments, dialysis, and counseling appointments. You can set up transportation by calling Transportation Services at 1-877-718-4212.

Interpreter services are provided free of charge to you during any service or grievance process. This includes American Sign Language and real-time oral interpretation by certified medical interpreters. Our interpreters have demonstrated proficiency in writing and understanding both written English and at least one other written non-English language.

If you need something translated into a language other than English, please call Oklahoma Complete Health at 1-833-752-1664 (TTY: 711). We can also provide things in other formats such as Braille, CD or large print.

If you need an interpreter for your medical appointment, contact Oklahoma Complete Health before your appointment. We will arrange for an interpreter to be at your appointment.

Oklahoma Complete Health may cover, when medically necessary, Services or Settings that are not covered under Oklahoma SoonerCare.

Value Added Services

Oklahoma Complete Health provides up to $150 per year for Boys & Girls Clubs membership to members ages 6-18 years old to help them develop social and leadership skills..

Oklahoma Complete Health offers benefits to help members improve their grades in school, obtain their diploma or GED. Benefits include: 

  • For members ages 16 and older without a high school diploma, we provide GED vouchers for in-person or virtual testing or GED tutoring. 
  • For qualified members in grades K-12 we provide in-person or virtual tutoring to eligible youth who are at risk of failing one or more core subject areas.  

We partner with organizations that provide support respite shelter for members experiencing homelessness following discharge from an Oklahoma City hospital. 

Digital Behavioral Health (BH) App 

Oklahoma Complete Health provides members ages 13 years and older access to myStrength® Complete, our Digital BH App for health education and coaching. myStrength is a suite of highly interactive, individually tailored, and evidence-based online tools and coaching help users address depression, anxiety, stress, substance use, chronic pain, and sleep challenges, while also supporting the physical and spiritual aspects of whole-person health. 

Members can access the App through our website 24/7. 

Members ages 18 and older also may access two additional items through myStrength Complete:  

  • Virtual BH provider visits 
  • Choose Tomorrow suicide prevention support

Oklahoma Complete Health offers an over-the-counter benefit to all members for up to $50 per household per quarter for cold, cough, allergy, vitamins, supplements, eye/ear preparations, pain relievers, gastrointestinal products, first aid care, hygiene products, insect repellant, oral hygiene products, and skin care. 

Start Smart for Your Baby (Start Smart) is our special program for women who are pregnant or for those moms who just had a baby. 

We want to help you take care of yourself and your baby every step of the way. If you are pregnant, please let us know by completing a Notification of Pregnancy form. After completing this form you will be enrolled in Start Smart. You will receive information in the mail and over the phone.

Call us! Or, you can login to your Oklahoma Complete Health account and fill out the Notification of Pregnancy form. 

  • We offer Start Smart members benefits including: 
  • Unlimited 24/7 access to virtual doulas and enhanced lactation support from pregnancy to 12 months postpartum. 
  • A hospital-grade breast pump to support breastfeeding (1 per pregnancy) 
  • Community baby showers where members can receive a gift and safe sleep education 
  • Pre-scheduled transportation to milestone appointments for members in Care Management with high-risk pregnancies. 
  • Prenatal education and parenting classes when referred by Care Manager  

Our Ready for my Recovery benefit will support members on their recovery journey by providing a $30 My Health Pays reward for every six (6) months of active participation in recovery treatment, as well as a recovery backpack that includes a water bottle, self-care kit, journal, pen, and BH information and resources.  

My Health Pays® Rewards

Members can earn rewards on a My Health Pays® Visa® Prepaid Card for completing healthy activities like yearly wellness exams and choosing a Primary Care Provider.

Pyx is a mobile app that reduces social isolation by providing companionship and resources to adult members or who would have a health condition that would benefit from daily contact with Pyx. 

Members will receive phone calls from the Pyx Compassionate Call Center and have daily interaction with Pyx, a friendly 24/7 chatbot that provides an interactive and supportive experience.  

Oklahoma Complete Health will cover sports or camp physicals for child and youth members ages 5-18. The physical exam checks: 

  • Height, weight, and blood pressure measurements 
  • Vision 
  • The heart and lungs to detect abnormalities 
  • The musculoskeletal system for the range of motion and the integrity of joints

We provide adult and family memberships to local YMCAs to members to support physical activity and healthy lifestyles. 

Following are Additional Benefits for Members in Care Management programs.

Oklahoma Complete Health provides asthma self-management through these benefits:  

  • Home visits conducted by a Care Manager or Community Health Worker to assess the home for environmental triggers 
  • In-home asthma management education and tobacco cessation resources 
  • Care grants of up to $250 per year per members to support home-based remediation of asthma triggers (e.g., hypoallergenic bedding, pest control, carpet cleaning, cleaners low in volatile organic compounds, etc.) 
  • For members up to age 19 with an asthma diagnosis, an additional nebulizer will be provided.

ConnectionsPlus® 

Through our ConnectionsPlus program, we provide free cell phones and data plans to members engaged in Care Management who do not have safe, reliable access to telephonic and web-based services. ConnectionsPlus allows members to have consistent access to Providers, our Care Managers, telehealth services, and 911.  

We offer virtual Weight Watchers memberships for adult members ages 18 and older in Care Management whose Provider recommends an increase in healthy eating and physical activity to reduce their BMI.  

Oklahoma Complete Health will cover the cost of up to 48 hours per year of respite support for Caregivers of members who are in Care Management. 

We provide members in Care Management who need support with employment, housing, social service benefits, or health-related legal matters with access to legal services from Legal Aid Services.

Respite Shelter – Respite shelter for members experiencing homelessness following discharge from Oklahoma City and Tulsa area hospitals, delivered through partnership with selected community organizations. 

For members in Care Management who screen positive for food insecurity, we provide up to $100 per year in Food Rx vouchers for nutritional foods. 

For qualified members, in Care Management upon hospital discharge, including those with high-risk pregnancies, we provide seven (7) days of medically tailored meals delivered to their homes.  

For members in Care Management who need additional nutritional counseling for a chronic condition, we expand the State’s nutritional counseling benefit by four (4) additional hours per year. 

Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) 

Our diabetes program uses cellular technology, glucose readings, and automatic supply refills to facilitate timely intervention while reducing waste and removing barriers to participation. 

Members will receive a supply kit delivered to their home with an introduction to the program, a glucometer, a how-to instruction guide, and a supply of testing strips. 

Member’s will be monitored, and an outreach will occur to the member if blood glucose readings are missed or high levels are recorded.  

For our members diagnosed with a high-risk pregnancy, we combine telehealth with cellular technology and readings for blood pressure, glucose monitoring, and at-home fetal monitors.  

Oklahoma Complete Health Care Managers will help schedule appointments if needed.
